Introduction
UiTM-Global University Network (UGUN) Summer Camp 2026 is a high-impact international academic initiative designed to facilitate strategic engagement among scholars, researchers, and students from both local and international institutions. The program serves as a structured collaborative platform, integrating key elements of a knowledge transfer framework, co-authorship in scholarly publications, innovation ecosystems, commercialization, and industry networks. Furthermore, the initiative is enriched by immersive cultural diplomacy achieved through meaningful community engagement. This program actively targets synergistic participation from accompanying academic advisors representing their respective institutions.
The core structure of the program encompasses five primary sub-programs designed for participant involvement:
i) Sahabat Antarabangsa Perlis dan UiTM (SAPA): Community engagement activities and reflective documentation of local cultural experiences.
ii) Pair to Publish (P2P): Collaborative research writing targeting globally indexed, peer-reviewed journals.
iii) Student Innovation Competition (SIC): A showcase platform for impactful high-potential inventions and creative solutions.
iv) Commercialization & Industry Exposure: An exploration of entrepreneurial ecosystems and industrial supply chain networks.
v) Perlis Cultural Walk (Fun Run): A wellness initiative integrated with local cultural exposure.
Our primary objective is to facilitate effective knowledge transfer, enable precise expertise matching, and generate scholarly and innovative outputs that demonstrate excellence, sustainability, and high societal impact.
